Never clipped in before? Perfect — you're exactly who this is for. Our instructors will introduce themselves before class, get you set up on the bike, and check on you throughout. You control your own resistance the entire time, so there's no keeping up, no wrong pace, and no pressure — just you, your breath, and the music. When you're ready to explore more, our strength and recovery classes pair perfectly with your rides and are just as welcoming. However you want to show up, we're here for it.
Here's what to expect.
Before you arrive
Wear comfortable clothes — anything you'd sweat in works. We have cycling shoes at the studio for you to borrow at no charge, so just bring socks. Aim to arrive 10–15 minutes early for your first class so we can get you set up on the bike, answer any questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before the class starts.
When you walk in
Our team will greet you at the front desk, get you checked in, and show you around. Lockers are available for your bag and belongings. The studio gets dark and the energy gets good, so you'll want both hands free. Our instructors will introduce themselves, help you clip in, and adjust your bike fit before class begins.
During your ride
You are in charge of your resistance knob, always. Our instructors will guide and encourage you, but there's no monitor showing your output to the class and no one checking how hard you're pushing. Ride at your pace, take breaks when you need them, and let the music carry you through! Classes are 50 minutes. We ask that you commit to the full ride, including the cool down — it matters more than you'd think.
One thing we take seriously: phones stay off during class. Give yourself 50 uninterrupted minutes. The texts will be there after.
Lastly, we work close together in the studio, so skip the heavy fragrance and come ready to sweat!
After class
Our bathrooms are fully stocked — showers, towels, toiletries, hair ties, deodorant — everything you need to head straight to work or wherever the day takes you! Take a minute to chat with your instructor or the team at the front desk. They can help you book your next class, answer questions, and share what to try if you want to add strength or recovery to your routine.
Don't take our word for it.
“Over a year at LifeCYCLE and it keeps getting better. If you’re looking for boutique gym where you “fit in”, look no further! Cycling is now my absolute favorite thing to do. I have grown so much more confident with my abilities thanks to the amazing instructors. I also love getting in one of their Strength or Sculpt classes for an added workout. Couldn’t recommend LifeCYCLE more!!! Life changing!”
“I highly recommend LifeCYCLE! The studio is such a caring community where people of all fitness levels feel welcome and supported. The instructors are encouraging, knowledgeable, and make workouts both challenging and fun. If you’re looking for a place where you can push yourself, have fun, and feel part of a supportive community, LifeCYCLE is the place for you!!”
“Where do I begin? This is the absolute best gym and community I have ever been blessed to be a part of. I’m so devoted to my health because of the support and stability this gym has offered me. The instructors and owner are such incredibly kind and talented people and it really feels like family. There is nothing corporate about this place and you really get the best care and guidance here. I love coming for cycle and strength classes ! There are so many options offered and they are constantly having fun themed rides and other activities that make it so unique. They’ve really changed my life and I love them so so much!”
“As someone who has been spinning on and off for years and who owned a spin bike before peloton was popular, let me tell you, I was HUMBLED my first class here. The coaches are extraordinary and will push you. Coming from the DC metro area, I was pleasantly surprised that the instructors didn’t fit the teeny bopper, fresh out of college, more focused on aesthetics than form typical spin instructor I encountered in the city. These are actual athletes on these bikes. And the best part is - they are riding with you the entire time!
The community is amazing. Members are so positive and supportive. Everyone is super welcoming and warm. A very authentic atmosphere! The studio does different events and challenges to foster a sense of friendship and community. You will not find this kind of experience at a typical franchise gym/studio!
If you are looking to level up your fitness experience and make a few friends, try a class! You won’t look back!”
You're in good hands.
Our instructors are the reason people keep coming back. Every one of them has been exactly where you are — first class, first clip-in, not sure what to expect. They'll meet you where you are.
